Hotel is old but, for some of us, that is part of the charm. Floor of my room was very creaky. We had a fabulous time! All the rooms have an ensuite bathroom which was great for us. The whole property is lovely and full of character. You need a car. The private beach is just perfect. But for day trips it’s worth travelling further afield to Rye, Port Lympne reserve and Camber Sands for the sandy beach. Ashford outlet is also a good stop off for browsing and lunch en route.
