"We booked the B and B for two nights but left after one night because the mattress was extremely old and uncomfortable. The host couple was very nice to us and tried to accommodate us in every way. The setting was beautiful and otherwise the accommodations were good"

"Very nice place and super sweet and serviceminded hosts. The Price however was way over the normal standard. But it could be Ok, if the hotel was excellent. The website said aircondition, but there was no Aircondition. It also said pool, but it was green and not fit to swin in. "Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans la chambre "La Brindille", joliment décorée et bien aménagée. Quel bonheur de pouvoir profiter de la piscine chauffée, de la table de ping-pong, des chemins dans les vignes... Les planches repas sont copieuses et délicieuses. Le vin est excellent. Les petits-déjeuners de qualité sont sains et gourmands. Les propriétaires sont charmants. Nous recommandons vivement !"

"Nice quiet stay, nice large comfortable room, nice pool. Very good breakfast. Chateau is near the Canal were you can have a very nice walk, towards the city of Roanne or not."

"Great experience at this beautiful place. Xavier and his wife could not have done more to make us feel welcome. This was a really good break from usual business hotels, great evening / dinner with owners and other guests ending with a courtesy tour of the estate in a golf buggy, we will certainly remember our stay. "The website said that the location was "Behind the Maire in Savigny". We came off the A89 to head south to Savigny. After traversing many farm tracks and minor roads eventually ending up at Savigny. We could not find the address there behind the Mārie and in desperation rang Madame Boisel for directions from the centre of Savigny. Although I speak a little French we could not understand each other. However her so who spoke English got us to put our iPhone on FaceTime and turn it round to see the...

"Cheap, tout est branquignolant. Non chauffé avant notre arrivée donc moins de 20°C dedans en arrivant et tres long a chauffer. Moyennement propre. Bref je ne recommande pas. Point positif le petit déjeuner a prendre dans la boulangerie a 200m. "

10/10 Excellent

"Seamless check in - polite & v pleasant staff member on reception who gave us information & directions with regard to charging the car & places to eat as it was a Sunday night & not many places open. Excellent large room ideal for us travelling with our dog. Dog bowls & toy also provided in the room which was a nice touch along with a complimentary bottle of water & well stocked coffee & tea facilities. Good to have the green tea option too which is often missed. Room was comfortable - the only slight negativity was the air conditioning which did little to cool down the room but it was a minor thing. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel but it was on offer. Would definitely stay here again. "
