2/10 Terrible

"The hotel looked clean when we walked in. But the room was not. Stains in the bathroom on the walls, mold all over the ceiling, broken tiles and just felt dirty. Then no hot water for a shower. It was luke-warm at best. And that’s just the bathroom. The beds were old, creaky and stained. No fridge, instead it was a pile of dust. The pool was the only plus. Then got no service at checkout. I waited at the counter and rang the bell. No one came. Don’t stay here!"

"The lake view was beautiful. How wonderful to wake up every morning to see the sun come up over that lake. Accommodations were super. The loft is sort of tricky to access. We could not use that space. Getting up there in age and getting up to those bunk beds seemed too dangerous to use."

"A well appointed, clean and accessible property. While we didn’t have time to take advantage of the fire pit, it looked inviting. Check-in process was smooth and the necessary items for a comfortable stay were all there. Thanks for having us! Ps. The sheets on our bed were so cute & soft. "

"My wife and I enjoyed this cottage. It was clean, inviting, and well appointed. The beds and sofas were comfortable. We liked that the cottage struck a good balance between comfortable and rustic. In that regard, it was one of the nicer cottages we have rented. The location was less than ideal. It is only a short walk from the lake, but there wasn't any seating for us to sit and enjoy the water. With that said, there are two State parts very close to the property, so we were able to take some nice hikes and enjoy Higgins Lake. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and thought it was a very good value."
