“Was a nice house. Wish the garage was accessible. The fenced in yard was huge and our little dog loved being able to run around. The road is busy during the day so a little loud but we had a great time. Communication with the host was great.”

“Cabin is located on prime spot with beautiful view of the Rifle River. Cozy and quiet; exceptionally clean; well-stocked kitchen; beds very comfortable. Rained on and off the whole time, but it we still enjoyed campfires at night, and the raindrops falling on the river added to the serenity of this beautiful cabin. Highly recommend; will return this summer or fall to enjoy the river.”

“The large log cabin home is located on a small lake southeast of Houghton Lake. It's in an area of nice homes located along the west side of East Twin Lake. The road is paved where the homes are, but are gravel getting to the area. We enjoyed watching the sunrises from the main deck and liked the Michigan shaped adirondack chairs. The home has a large open living room with fireplace, a well stocked kitchen, bathrooms on all three levels, and ample sleeping accommodations, many with views of the……

“The house and lake were beautiful. Very clean. So quiet…we enjoyed it. The beds were quite comfortable as well. A garage door opener would have been very useful to have. We loved our stay. Unfortunately we had a medical emergency and had to leave our 5 day stay 2 days early but maybe we will get a chance to return again.”

“The pictures were spot on, the house was super clean and had more provided than other places we have stayed. Only complaint is that the smoke alarms were so sensitive that the steam from the shower set of the one in the bedroom and both times we used the oven the smoke alarm went off in the dining room. So not really a true complaint! The check in process was super easy and this was a great property to use as home base to visit family in the area. Highly recommend!”

“Had a six day vacation mid August. Rained four out of six, and it didn't matter! Well designed and light filled, this chalet has more than enough communal and semi private interior space to give a group the room to spread out. Sage Lake is a beauty, spring fed and sprawling. I went fishing for Gills and Crappie, had no problem finding them. This is a quiet lake with many grandparents about on pontoons. Perfect! My spouse was inspired by the wildlife.
