When you pull up to this place you could question if you are at the right location as the pictures are taken from the back of the property. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The choice of options for a free breakfast were good.

The staff during my stay was very friendly. The room seemed clean and the bed was very comfotable , however the comforter was sheet thin and there was only a very thin blanket with it. The pillows were lumpy and hard. When I laid down I noticed webs with crawling insects all along the ceiling above my head. I could see how they could have been easily missed by a maid in a hurry so I just got a tissue and got rid of them. In the bathroom there was dog chow in front of the shower so I started looking more carefully at the floor and behind the door when it was open had not been swept in at least a week. Otherwise the room seemed clean. I did not mention this to the desk clerk which was a big mistake. Two days after I left they took another 28$ out of my checking account, when I called they said it was a pet fee. When I said I did not have a pet, and I had never mentioned a pet when I checked in, she said she would have her manager call me. Two days went by with no call. When I called back she said it wasn't a pet fee it was because I stole a pillow and she would have the manager call me! I was livid! I told her their pillows were terrible, though their beds were great, their pillows were like a case stuffed with a buch of old washcloths and towels and hard as a rock. I could not even use them. This was Oct. 13 and 14, 2025, it's now Nov.12, the manager has yet to call. I do not recommend this place. They have no hot food for breakfast.

The people in the room above us stomped across the floor,slammed drawers shut, dragged the chair across the floor - non-stop until 12:30 am. We got no sleep until then. The room was not clean. Floor was filthy and there were unknown substance smears on the walls.

It's just a motel and from previous reviews I guess I expected something bright and clean. The floor was dirty, there was no counter space to put toiletries on. The noise from adjoining rooms when the showers were started was very loud and forced us to get up early. The breakfast was minimal. We got there in the dark, so we couldn't appreciate the river view. The staff was friendly, so that's a plus.

This is a quaint little place with nice grassy garden area along the river. Very quiet, and the staff are all great. Very courteous and helpful. Our second time staying and we booked again for our trip south from Washington next week.

We’ve stayed here 7 of 8 times over the years. Pet friendly! It’s an old property but the back of the site is like a park - right on the river. We always walk across the bridge into the cool downtown. Ann at the front deck is one of the nicest clerks we’ve come across.

The room was extremely dirty, and there were spider webs all over, which showed that it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. The water in the sink was not draining properly. There were no tissues provided. The bathroom had a terrible smell and was full of insects. The ceiling in the bathroom was damaged and looked very unpleasant. I am very dissatisfied with my stay

This is an older, but well-maintained property. It’s in a convenient location. There is some traffic noise. A comforter or a spare blanket on the bed would have been helpful. We had to turn off the in-room heater due to a vey noisy fan. I think they could also consider buying a new toaster for the breakfast nook located next to the check-in counter.
