“We booked for UConn graduation weekend, our daughter’s friend and her parents stayed with us. Lovely peaceful location, beautiful lake, spring flowers, gorgeous! House was as listed, everything perfect for us! Made for an excellent weekend! We wished we were here for a week longer :)”

“The place is very comfortable. It's the ground floor of an older, large farmhouse and has 3 bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen & a bunk bed), 1 bathroom, 2 TVs, lots of cards and board games! The young couple who own the house live upstairs and are very nice and helpful, too. They have dogs and it was remarkably quiet despite them being right up stairs. They also have chickens and roosters! We brough our dogs, too. They have a large unfenced yard but do have a large penned area for the dogs.”

“Clean comfortable cottage in a beautiful location. Kitchen and bathroom are well stocked with all the essentials. Would definitely stay here again!”

“Decent, had discount which lowered price. Noisier as its near main road. Room could be cleaner and overall probably not worth the place. I did not stay for the downtown area and just stopped as an in-between place. Cheaper options/better value probably around”

“The Scottish Inn was a much better place than I stayed at during my last visit to Sturbridge. The room was comfortable, clean, and odor-free. The area was quiet, and there's even a nice breakfast place right next door. The continental breakfast offerings we nice as well. I don't think you can beat it for this price. ”

“Everything was great!! The clerk was very personable and the room and bathroom was clean. The only small thing I would mention is the cobwebs in the extremely high corners of the ceiling. That's it other than that everything was great!!?”

“Water was not hot at all on second and third floors. Ran water for 10 minutes and was only like warm. ”
