We stayed at Kevin’s house with our college kids and lab Ruby. Everyone had a great time and it was perfect for us. Lots of space, comfortable, and near some hiking paths that kept us all busy and the dog tired. We would definitely stay again!

Great stay!

The house was clean and had everything we needed. It was close to a short hike that connected to other longer hikes which was great for our family and the different hiking options we needed. It was also nice that we could bring our dogs along!

Entertainment playground

The property is about a 5-7 minute drive to the Wintergreen resort. It was an excellent choice for multiple families who have kids. The downstairs area is full of entertaining games such as foosball, basketball, and darts. It also includes arcade games and multiple TVs. This area kept all the kids entertained whenever the adults were upstairs.

Great spot for larger groups

We stayed here two nights with family and kids (9 people total). The kids loved the game room and the jacuzzi was a nice add (even though it was freezing cold outside!) everyone had plenty of room to sleep and the place was very clean. We were worried about it being pet friendly but it wasn’t an issue. If I had to knit pick, it was a bit pricey for two nights, the fireplace wasn’t working after multiple attempts, and the toilet seats were super small/low which is harder for us bigger guys. Regardless, I’d stay here again if the seasonal rate was lower.

This was one of the best VRBO experiences I’ve had. Our group of 10 (annual couples trip) had plenty of space, were able to enjoy the outdoors/firepit area, deck, and the variety of living area. The house was equipped with everything you could possibly need. We will definitely plan another trip here.

Lovely home in the mountains, clean and well stocked with plenty of supplies. Awesome game room, fun for all ages! Great location for hiking at Wintergreen, as well as the surrounding area.

Family Vacation

Owners were extremely responsive and helpful. There were a few issues, but the owners immediately addressed them and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The house was great for our needs and our teenagers especially enjoyed the downstairs game room and hot tub.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving and it was absolutely amazing! The space was perfect, the family agrees this was the best Thanksgiving ever! The host was in contact with us within minutes anytime we had any questions and the house was so clean. We are so happy!
