"Amazing room Amazing Staff Amazing food Loved my stay!"

"Our second time at the Bay Leaf on our trip to the Andaman Islands. We found the BL to be a modern well run hotel and a good central location. We stayed in two types of rooms we found both to be of a good standard. Eg: comfortable beds, clean well maintained bathrooms and good AC/Fans. The rooftop restaurant /Bar is a nice place to eat dinner or enjoy a cocktail overlooking Port Blair, once again we found the level of service excellent. Probably the best accommodation we have found on this...

"This is a budgeted hotel No ambience no maintanence/upkeep No difference between deluxe and premier rooms except one fridge There were some summer insects in room The breakfast person told us to stir the tea with butter knife Huh ?? We stayed for 2 nights Our purpose was served but just accomodated ourselves Cant relax !the only pluspoint its in the middle of market and Restaurant Anju coco having good food is next to it"

"The hotel was a big disappointment. We stayed here for 1 night and had booked 3 rooms. There was no ventilation in the rooms and all the rooms were smelly. There were also cockroaches in the rooms. When we complained no action was taken. The hotel is family run and the hotel staff is highly unprofessional. The hotel also refused to accept credit card payment and we had to run around for an ATM. All in all for the hefty price we paid - this hotel was a big rip off."

"We stayed there for one night but there was loud music going on on their terrace which they did not slow down the music even after I complained. The music went on till 11pm , I complained twice after that they stopped. "

"We arrived at Andaman Castle on the recommendation of friends and booked a delux room. Firstly we were told we had no booking, then we were told that he had not booked the half board. We were shown to our room when this was sorted , it smelled dirty and damp and had blood on the pillows, the cleaner insisted it was fine-and it was only nail polish!! They told us there was nothing else available, but when we insisted they changed room-not much better but it had a patio door to open and air out...
