Clean and well kept. Good breakfast. Quiet area. The only downside was online pre-registration, which I overlooked and had difficulty to get check-in. Otherwise, nice hotel.

Because I left very early for the ferry the staff had made a lovely vegetarian breakfast for me to take away. There are lockable fridge locker and a kitchen area with sink and microwave. I emailed the hotel 48 hours before I arrived to make the request and the breakfast was in the fridge the evening before I left. Excellent for a stopover.

I have stayed at the Am Kai 334 a few times due to work, biggest mistake I made was informing my work colleagues how convenient it was to stay there and be able to walk to our work vessel on new change day, as they started to also book rooms, leaving me to search other alternatives. The rooms are immaculately clean, and have the best showers I have ever used. The staff are very helpful and resolve any queries you may have on booking a taxi, shopping areas, local restaurants etc etc. The area is so quiet I have the best sleep ever.

This is not an hotel! It is a dormitory in a school for seamanship. It’s a 20€ taxi to the town. And 20€ back. Beds are dormitory level. One soap container in bathroom - take a handful to the shower and make it last. It is very clean, breakfast options are quite good. Expedia should be clear this is choice only if you have a car.

The “hotel” is attached to a training centre, so was difficulty to find as could not see signs for Am Kai Hotel. I finally found the entrance and was given my keys to the room. The rooms are amazing, lovely size, very clean and the best shower I’ve ever had, breakfast the following morning as varied from normal European breakfast but also a full English fried breakfast, which was constantly refilled. Plenty of juices and coffee to drink. There are not places nearby for food/drinks nearby, but I bought items from the train station to eat so no problem for me. I will definitely use the hotel again as it was within walking distance for the local train station (Rostock Marienehe) and the place I was visiting.

Value for money

Value for money hotel. Friendly and helpfull staff. Quiet area even though that the hotel/navy school is placed in a working area. The hotels rental bicycles is an excellent way to get around in the city.

Das sich sowas überhaupt Hotel nennt, find ich krass. Positives als erstes: Das Zimmer war sauber und schön eingerichtet Negatives: Das Frühstück war immer leer, kaum Auswahl und das was warm sein sollte war kalt. Dann war nichts beschrieben was was ist. Heute war der Kaffee alle, es gab kein Käse, kein Speck, usw. Das ich dafür Geld bezahlt habe, bereue ich da man bei Aldi neben an, mehr fürs Geld bekommen hätte. Die Rezeption ist garnicht ausgeschildert, das Licht im Zimmer geht immer von selbst an oder aus. Ich war jeden Morgen um 7:30 Uhr wach dank des Lichts was immer anging.

Die Unterkunft war ruhig. Es gab zu Fuß in 5 Min. erreichbar einen Supermarkt. Speisen gab es zu kaufen oder zu bestellen. Frühstück war gut und ausreichend. Es gab gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Das Zimmer war hell, freundlich und sauber. Gut zu Fuß sollte man schon sein, denn ca. 15 Min. braucht man bis zur S-Bahn. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig man kann dort alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in Rostock schnell besuchen. Lecker essen in der Fischbratküche gleich neben an gute Betten. Viel Platz Bad mit BD und Dusche sehr sauber schöne Lösung mit den Kühlschränken sehr schönes Frühstück am Hafen sehr sehr nette Angestellte gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

Preis-Leistung passt

Eine schöne Unterkunft, freundlicher Empfang, sauber, sehr ruhig, Blick auf das Wasser, gutes Frühstücksbuffet, abschließbarer Kühlschrank auf dem Flur, Fahrräder konnten trocken untergestellt werden. Aldi 2 min zu Fuß. ABER: Unbedingt auf die Öffnungszeiten des Fahrstuhls achten, sonst schleppt man das Gepäck 3 Stockwerke hoch und auch wieder runter! Das ist ein definitives Manko! Dem Zugangscode mussten wir, und auch andere Gäste, hinterher telefonieren. Hat aber gut geklappt. Zum Bahnhof mit dem Rad 3 min, von dort gute S-Bahnanbindung sowohl nach Warnemünde als auch nach Rostock.

Waren zur städtetour da...rostock und warnemünde...2 nächte mit frühstück....guter ausgangspunkt....sehr sehr nettes personal...sauber und ordentlich....Frühstücksbuffet austeichend...für unsere zwecke völlig in ordnung würden wieder kommen ....allerdings muss man gut zu fuss sein wegen dem fehlenden fahrstuhl zu bestimmten zeiten .....
