「Room clean.staff very friendly and a very good breakfast.」

「Okay for a short stay. Little bit of tlc was needed throughout, otherwise all ok」

「A nice travellers rest inn, we had a very spacious ground floor room with an equally spacious ensuite, the room was a little noisy early evening, but was generally quiet overnight. Well located in the centre of Bakewell close to all the town has to offer. The adjoining pub has a great atmosphere with excellent food and drinks. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating.」

「Excellent stay here. Room had comfy beds and large bathroom. Delicious breakfast every morning. We ate in their pub each evening and thoroughly enjoyed both meals. Staff is very friendly. Laura is the best!」

「I had liver and onions for evening meal. It was over cooked as the liver was crumbling as I ate it. The bed was uncomfortable ..mattress was cheap and the bed wobbled every time you moved keeping my wife awake as I moved in the night. Sue, manager was brilliant , very attentive and polite.」

「At check in staff member was kind enough to let us check in early. Room was nice and had everything we needed, smelled very fusty and damp though. Before booking, we checked food service times as we knew we would need to eat quite late, this was shown as 9pm on their website and hotel.com. we tried to order at half past 8 and were told kitchen was closed. There is nothing else around so we had to get a taxi to and from the nearest tescos for a meal deal」
