The place was clean, staff were friendly, and the room very spacious. My only complaints were that the wifi wasn't the most reliable and the reception a little hidden in the restaurant. Overall, a great place to stay.

The Olde House was quite a surprise and seemed very popular with local people and seemed busy whilst we stayed there for three nights. The Carpark was enormous and during the day was being used by people learning to drive motorcars. Inside the building had many levels to choose from, where to sit. Our bed-room was a good size although the bathroom did not have any grab handles around the bath/shower tub. The food was ordered at the bar and was reasonably good, although I had an expensive main course which came with a stone cold/frozen corn on the cob and a staff member took it away, and rather than give me a fresh one, returned it 50% cooked and still partially frozen. I did not to eat it and I discarded it. Chap I was sat with had ordered a steak on curry night and was told that the restaurant had run out of steak knives? We did like our stay at Olde House and the bedrooms were quiet and clean.

The room was very cosy and hard everything we needed. It was in a very peaceful and quiet part of the building. Room was very clean. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely stay and will definitely stay there again in the future.

We had a lovely stay, I’d booked last minute and wasn’t sure what to expect as we usually stick to premier inn hotels as my son has autism and doesn’t like anything different. This hotel was great, clean, comfortable, the heating was very efficient and the staff were brilliant.
The lady who checked us in was very understanding of my son’s needs and she really did go out of her way to make us feel welcome,‘nothing was too much trouble. My son really enjoyed his stay and asked if we can stay again some time.
