「Needed a shut down after move and all that involves. Just what the doctor ordered. Be sure and stop at Heartbreakers for dinner. The cabin and the surrounding area was all we needed.」

「This home has more than just curb appeal. The inside has ceiling beams, beautiful hardwood floors, and character. There were enough bed, all roomy and well appointed. Its location is truly ideal. Ben went out of his way to make sure we had the celebration we came for. 2-70th birthdays! Because our son lives and works in Wausau, we will use this property again. It was perfect!」

「This was my first VRBO rental...and because of this little house, I keep using VRBO for my travels. This house is on the small side. For 3 adults we found the size to be good for a couple of nights. As 3 chunky humans the bathroom door open was a little close to the sink, tight squeeze theough. If you are a larger person, be cautious of the smaller space in that room. We would stay at this house again!」

「Beautiful and spotless home in a convenient location. I was in town for work and my wife and kids were able to come along. The kids love the backyard and playhouse, and the yard is fully fenced so we feel safe letting them run around. They had a fun at the new Children's Museum. We walked over to a nearby restaurant for breakfast, which was clean, good food and value. Also, took a walk around the neighborhood and down to the park and boat landing. We will be back again!」

「This was a wonderful large house where we stayed while our grandsons enjoyed skiing at Granite Peak. It was fabulous to have the lake right there as we built campfires and had hotdogs and s’mores!! It made the trip even more special!」

「This location was clean and amazing! We had a large group of 6 coming up for a pool tournament. So we have stayed at other rentals in many cities and this is hands down the best! They had more than enough towels, soap, toilet paper, dishes, to accommodate without having to go to the store and get our own! Which we have had to do EVERY TIME. ( It seems the norm to just have the bare minimum for our use.) The host was prompt and precise and pleasant on all interactions. 10/10 !!!」

「Great location for skiing at Granite Peak. Three other Dads and I brought eight 13 year old boys up for an annual ski trip. The sleeping arrangements, kitchen and access to the state park lot at the top of the mountain made this trip a great success.」

「Everything was nice and tidy. Nicely decorated. I really like that there was a safe spot to put our rig in the garage. First morning there was neat because we got to see a lake otter. that was cool. It's fun to see all the ginormous squirrels and birds. Nice and close to everything but you're not right in the town of Wausau. We are like 3 minutes from everything we needed. If I ever head that way I'll probably definitely stay there.」

「We have stayed in many VRBO's and I cannot remember a rental being as perfect as this one was! We wanted a lake house to go fishing and boy did this accommodate that to the fullest. First off, the house was stocked better than our own home that we live in and they had everything we could ever need and more. The pontoon boat, fishing dock, and backyard were perfect. We built a fire every night and they provided plenty of firewood along with a nice little smores kit which was a very nice touch. I...

「This is a fantastic location for a large group ski vacation. The air hockey, darts, arcade games and darts were perfect for after a day of skiing. So much space for people to spread out and do different things, all in the same home. The hosts responded quickly to all of my questions. Definitely recommend!」

「We loved this property. We had 5 adults and 2 kids, 7 and 10 years old. One of the adults and the 2 kids hung out at the house while 4 of us hiked many miles of the Ice Age Trail. The kids joined us for a few miles at the Dells of the Eau Claire and then went back to the property to play and hang out. We had a fire in the fire ring, played croquet, and ladder golf. The house was immaculate. Highly recommended!」
