Not well clean and tidy up the room as the glass still have stinks…….tea cup with some crystal stuff inside……. Bed is good and sleep well. Staff is cool and not showing up all the time. My fee is including Breakfast which is not the buffet one and you can choose one set in the menu. Location and car park is good.

安逸的旅途休息站

酒店在当地还是不错的，旅行团很多。自助餐性价比高，好像还可以点中餐。美中不足的一是离超市较远，步行要至少20分钟，二是所处温泉城但是房间没有温泉设施。安逸的旅途休息站是充分做到了其功能。

Not a 4 star hotel

The bed is too soft and free wifI is only available at the lobby 30mins a day, which is not really relevant to the description. The location is just okay, but I would prefer stay in other motel instead. Best location at Rotorua is ibis hotel. This hotel not meet to a 4 star standard.

The hotel is old & needs refurbishingor reno works. Clearly many things in the room seem "ancient" Unfortunately we even had a breakdown of the wifi service for our room. Also the mode of the wifi access is a bit weird & we had to chase the reception on the wifi breakdown & it finally got settled after almost 15 hrs. For us international travellers perhaps there aren't many visitors like us & we stayed 3 nites. Albeit the room service was reasonably efficient though but not the front desk - reason for this statement is bcoz the front desk's different shifts didn't have a clue on the wifi breakdown which was from 10pm till about following day 3-4pm. I won't stay here again even though NZ is one of my fav countries to visit

When booking the Copthorne I thought I was booking at quite a fancy place, the hotel itself and its rooms are very dated and old! Only hotel I know of still using actual keys! We checked in easily, but upon entering our room found broken glass all over the floor between the beds! The reception team cleaned it up quickly but still could have been bad if we’d stood on it before noticing it. Our room had no microwave, only 2 teaspoons and 3 cups, and 3 mugs, no knives or bowls or plates! The carpet in our room was old and broken and stained. Tv channels available were minimal no additional services available to pay for or book on the tv. At least the beds were soft and snuggly was the only upside. The buffet breakfast was way too expensive at $35 per adult….. considering what food was on offer! Eggs only scrambled or hard boiled no fried eggs when I asked if they did fried eggs staff looked at me like I was crazy or she didn’t speak English, the boiling water was luke warm, the juices and milk empty had to ask for everything. On our 2nd to last day the only elevator was Out of Order thankfully we were only on the 2nd floor but had to lug our bags down the stairs when we left glad we weren’t on the 5th floor. The jacuzzi wasn’t hot enough. The gentleman at reception was very helpful whenever I needed anything so A+ to the staff but wouldn’t stay here again!
