Ngongotaha Lakeside Lodge- Lakeview Apartment

This lakefront home on Lake Rotorua offers a private and unobstructed view of the lake, just 5 minutes from Ngongotaha village and a 10-minute drive to Rotorua center. Guests can enjoy the peaceful location, direct lake access, and stunning sunrise/sunset views. The self-contained living space includes two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, laundry, and a bathroom with underfloor heating. Basic shower and breakfast essentials are provided. Heating and free unlimited fiber WiFi are available. Guests can request to use the spa with 24 hours' notice. The hosts reside on the property but maintain their own separate living area for guest privacy. Kayaks are available for use, this is included in the accommodation cost.

Beautiful location

We had a wonderful time sitting outside watching the birds, People, fishermen and dogs. Such a beautiful location with a walkway around the lake that you could easier walk to the small downtown. Grocery, drugstore, restaurants were within walking distance. Everyone was friendly. The kitchen was stocked for breakfast and had everything you would need to cook. It was great to be able to wash your clothes and put the drying rack outside. Close to so many things that it was the perfect place to stay

Just One Night

We stayed at this VRBO for one night while traveling from Auckland to Taupo. Excellent communication with the host. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and they even left us fresh milk and a vase of flowers. I wish we had more time to stay!

One of the better places to stay. Extremely convenient for fishing. Small things need attention, such as entrance door very hard to lock, kitchen tap needs replaced as it sprays everywhere. Overall top marks.
