"I will get negatives out of the way first, the listing says this is a working dairy farm however there is just a few cows and one pig. The grandchildren were looking forward to learning and watching milking etc but there was no opportunity to do this. Also we were told we could use the hot tub and pool when the weather improved however both were not ready for use in the 2 weeks we were there. "A large group of us stayed at the gîte, which included 6 adults & 4 young children. The owners were out when we arrived late evening to the gîte; they had pre-warned me already to say they would be out. They responded promptly to opening the electric gates to let us in. The key was easily located as per their message. It has a large parking area and we had no problem with parking despite having 3 cars within our group. The area is quiet, remote & relaxing.
