Nice room, easy to follow self check in instructions. A bit of a walk up hill from main railway station, easy to walk down. If possible I would suggest if arriving by train to get a train from main station to mesto station, then you can walk down to the hotel from there. Very quiet town, nice American restaurant near by with American type menu and some craft beer (Pepper Monkey's)

Excellent location outside of Prague. Good train transportation options to get to and from Prague. A nice small town atmosphere. Great location for exploring Prague as well as Terezin.

quite good apart from inefficient check in

Overall quite good for the price, rooms were more than adequate, location is very good, breakfast in the cafe next door was excellent. Only big minus is the chaotic and very inefficient check in. There is no one at reception, you are required to phone a number that is at the door and then send your ID details via Whatsapp in order for the hotel to send you the code for the room, this should be mentioned beforehand! Now it took half and hour and several calls back and forth to get access to our rooms.

Ups and Downs

Nice building, old but in good shape. Direct in the center of Roudnice but calm never the less. Rooms clean and not too warm even on the hottest days (despite no air condition). Reception is not staffed continously, but someone will arrive shortly after calling. Ventilation of bathroom and toilet flushing are bad. Breakfast was good but at a very high price of 20€. Charging the same 20€ for any person idependent of age (also for small kids only eating a bowl of Muesli) is an absolute No-Go!

Owner and staff were extremely friendly. Ownership of property had occurred within last month and they were still getting things in order. Breakfast was great but servicing of room daily was inconsistent. Location is great on center square of town, parking extremely convenient and rooms very large with great smart TV

There was no staff available at any time. I only received SMSs from the owner(?) but I never checked in or anything. So I went in and left like a ghost. Breakfast was a disaster. No one knew how to operate the coffee machine and overall quality was poor. There was just one person to serve and she didn´t speak English at all.

Interressantes, altes Gebäude. Unser Familienzimmer war sehr geräumig (5 Betten), nicht auf dem neuesten Stand, aber okay. Bad, Fernseher, kleiner Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher - alles da und funktioniert. Für jeden Gast auch ein Wasser und Teebeutel bereitgestellt. Keinerlei Kontakt zu Personal - Schlüssel kann aus einem kleinen Tresor abgeholt werden, und Checkout auch nur durch Einwurf Schlüssel. Größtes Manko: Toilettenspülung Nachdem ein einzelnes Toilettenpapierblatt schon nicht hernuter gespült wurde, haben wir auf größere Geschäfte vcorsichtshalber verzichtet..

Als wir angereist sind, war die Rezeption nicht mehr besetzt und wir konnten unser Zimmer nicht beziehen. Auf Anrufe wurde nicht reagiert. Unser Geld haben wir auch nicht erstattet bekommen. Nicht zu empfehlen!!

Winter visit 2024

Hotel doesn't have 24/7 front desk service, but it is ok for me. However, if front desk is closed, wheelchair customers do not have access to elevator. If you are not fit to walk steps, this hotel is not for you. All above is understandable as you cannot modify historical building. Anyways, I find this hotel be very cozy and I will be staying there again next year. Thank you again.

Ikke helt så tilfreds som sidst

Havde et ophold i marts den anmærkninger. Denne gang kunne de ikke se min booking. Fik et udmærket værelse. Håndklæderne var stive som er brædt og kradsede. En ret smal seng men med to separate madrasser så man derfor var nødt til at ligge i den ene side trods. På badeværelset var der ikke gardin og vandet fra bruseren plaskede derfor noget ud på gulvet da man skulle stå i badekaret - uden skridmåtte. Så denne gang ikke helt tilfreds. Dog fin morgenmad.

Oud maar goed.

Niet nieuw, maar prima hotel, beetje een doolhof. Lieve receptioniste die helemaal meeliep naar de kamer. Twee grote flessen prikwater op de kamer inbegrepen. Ontbijt ook goed, alleen de koffie kan beter.

Das Personal war nett, das Frühstücksbuffet war in Ordnung. Kleine Auswahl aber ok. Alles andere war leider unmöglich. Unsaubere Zimmer viele Haare von den Bewohnern vor uns,alte kaputte und fleckige Möbel, Wände an denen der Putz nicht mal gestrichen war. Kein TV bzw 2 von 2 defekt, kein Ventilator wie beschrieben. Bei über 30 Grad wäre der von Vorteil gewesen. Toilettenspülung defekt. Kein Hausmeister vor Ort erst in der Woche. Für den Preis leider u akzeptabel, Preisnachlass bei Abreise gab es leider nach Nachfrage nicht.
