Great spot and they have great transportation rates to get all over the city perfect place to stay if you want to visit the Santa village or city Center; it’s in the middle of both!

It was a nice place to stay. A spacious apartment with everything you need. We just stayed briefly as we needed somewhere to stay before a morning flight, but I am sure it would have been lovely to stay longer.

The apartment was spotless. The kitchen was adequately stocked with pantry staples - salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, as Ella’s basic kitchen essentials. It is very close to a market where I was able to cook dinners and breakfasts throughout my stay. The private sauna was wonderful. Highly recommended.

We recently stayed at Lomavekarit for five days and had an excellent experience. The accommodation was clean, warm, comfortable and felt very homely, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We also made good use of the private sauna within the accommodation, which was a great addition after days out exploring. After visiting the city, we were especially glad that we had chosen to stay just outside it, as it meant we could return to peaceful, quiet surroundings at the end of each day. Despite the tranquillity, the location was still conveniently close to local activities and only a short drive from the city centre. Tahir, the host, was outstanding throughout our stay. He was incredibly welcoming and went out of his way to make our trip easy and enjoyable. He drove us to the places we visited, picked us up afterwards, and even handled our airport transfers, which made the whole experience stress-free. His hospitality made a real difference to our visit, and we felt very well looked after from start to finish. We would highly recommend Lomavekarit to anyone visiting the area and would be more than happy to stay again.

Thank you for letting us stay, especially because we booked everything so late. Nice that we could check-in at 11 p.m. - we had a guided northern lights tour till 10p.m.. Everything was fine and nice and comfortable. We will possibly book again next winter.

Beautiful apartment in a quiet neighborhood. Apartment was kept very neat and warm during the cold winter. Had a proper functioning kitchen and a lovely private sauna. It’s also away from the city lights so we got to see the northern lights right outside the apartment. It was magical. Tahir was very responsive and helpful and even left a message when the night sky was clear to hunt for the auroras. Had a great stay. Would highly recommend.

This was the perfect spot for a quick stop to visit Santa Claus. I ran into an issue with getting a door to open and the owner of the property was there within minutes. Turned out it was user error on my part. The owner was very very nice. The other people that live in the area were nice as well. I highly recommend this place for anyone staying in the area. I will be back!

Great Winter Activity Holiday

The property is a little out of town so needs an Uber to get there from the Town Centre. All of the tour's we booked had an option to pick up and drop off from the property so we didn't need to stay in the town centre - the Uber ended up being just to get to the train station on our departure. Staying a little out of Town was definitely the right decision for us - the property was very picturesque, looking out onto the frozen lake and had a little snow filled garden out the back. The private sauna was also a welcome benefit after evenings out hiking and cross country skiiing. For a winter holiday, the entire experience was fantastic. Will absolutely return here one day in the future.

Outstanding accommodation with excellent facilities. The entire flat was spotless, specious and the host Tahir and his family was really helpful. We used Tahir’s transport service and it was one the best experience we had. He was always on time, very accommodating and just needed to give him 15 minutes notice in advance whenever we needed his taxi. Tahir also helped us with local information, booking for activities. He is super helpful. We had our best holiday experience as Tahir made us feel like home, we are super grateful to him. If we plan to go to Lapland again in future, we will SURELY stay in his accommodation as it was overall a five star experience.

Die Lage ist super, es wäre jedoch gut, einen Mietwagen zu haben, da die Unterkunft ziemlich weit außerhalb ist. Perfekt, wenn man seine Ruhe haben möchte. Ausstattung war absolut i.O. Zu beachten sind die angegebenen Zeiten für An- und Abreise, darauf wird geachtet. Super war, dass der Host uns auf die Polarlichter aufmerksam gemacht hat :) Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert.
