"My family had a great time at the Glain Orme. It was my husband, three children (ages 6,8,10), my mother-in-law and her friend. Due to pet restrictions, my father-in-law had to stay at the Grand Hotel with the dog. Overall our stay was excellent, and the accommodations were great. "I’m extremely fussy and very particular, however I thought this hotel was absolutely lovely! The majority of staff were great, the food was wonderful and it was clean, comfortable, homely and had a really nice ambience. I’ve knocked a star off for little things like tiny plates for breakfast (what’s that all about?), crumbs were still all over our floor after the room had been cleaned, the floor to the shower was lethally slippy, the breakfast wasn’t kept hot (luke warm at best), and the coffee was revolting (You’re missing out on a trick there …… imagine if you invested in a PROPER coffee machine and cakes - you’d make a killing)! Not overly impressed at being charged £25 per person (as a guest) to use the pool/spa. However, none of the above detracted from a lovely stay. We’d definitely stay here again. "
