“The cabin was gorgeous and exactly as described/seen in the photographs. We were lucky enough to get snowed in and the host reached out to ensure we were managing. We cooked a lot of meals in the cabin and were impressed with the large array of pots, pans, utensils to choose from. Also, the kids loved the Lego wall! They spent a lot of time in the basement and were happy to have the largest TV in the house to themselves. ”

“Loved the cabin! My only complaint was that the upstairs bed got hot during the night making my daughter uncomfortable. We put the fan up there the second night but it didn’t seem to help. She slept on the loveseat. Everything else we loved! ”

“Extremely welcoming host, and we even worked out staying an additional night because we were having such a great time. I’ve stayed at Alpine Lake at several different properties, and this was the first one that provided keys to be able to use the indoor pool. It was the perfect space for our family of 3 and 2 dogs. ”

“Host was very welcoming and responsive to our questions. The beds were very comfortable, house very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We loved having a car port in case of snow. We did rent an all wheel drive vehicle since we visited during ski season and we were glad we did. ”

“The host is the best - very responsive and accommodating! The house is fabulous - huge open concept living/dining room & kitchen, two generous sized bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom, and although we didn't need to use it, the house has a laundry room on the first floor. Excellent location in Parsons - right on the river! Close to Thomas, Davis, Blackwater Falls, Canaan Valley, & Dolly Sods.”

“We had a wonderful time at the Jameson! In addition to all of the adorable cabin touches and pictures of the namesake, our visit was quiet, spacious, and cozy - a difficult feat. We cooked delicious food, and enjoyed the hot tub! All the amenities worked, and clean up was easy. Just a few minutes from everything we needed it was conveniently located. To cap it off, the owners were gracious, communicative, and friendly. We look forward to returning!”
