Great stay

Our experience was great. Host - very responsive. Setting - beautiful. Accommodations, kitchen and beyond - stellar. Access - close to what we wanted! They created a great space, great place and a warm sense that helped us feel like we were on an easy vacation away.

Perfect Roxbury Getaway

This property was gorgeous. Just as listed. They had everything you could need. We loved the old school NES games. An overall lovely visit. Would DEFINITELY return to this property.

Wonderful Catskills Getaway

The Ridge had every amenity we were looking for: fire pit, king-sized bed, close to hiking and a modern home. As a bonus, there was a relaxing soaking tub that I could unwind in after a long trek. My husband and I loved watching the sunsets from the deck and we took advantage of all the kitchen tools and small appliances that were made available to us. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Just as all the other reviews indicate. This home is beautiful with stunning views. Tip - take 5 minutes and look at the book the host provides on the dining table. It explains or resolves any questions you may have. This is a very organized, well stocked home.

Fall wedding

Our younger child got married at Roxbury Barn & Estate, and we selected The Ridge as our VRBO. It could not have been more perfect - beautiful home, incredible view, well appointed kitchen (coffee lovers rejoice!). The home is perfectly sized and cozy. Highly recommend!

Roxbury ski trip

Have stayed at multiple listings in the area over the years and this is our favorite by far. Location wise it is about 15 min from Plattekill ski area, 5 - 8 minutes from Main Street so a great location for a ski trip. The house is clean, architecturally pleasing and comfortable (very warm and cozy in cold weather which has not always been the case). The views are stunning and the WiFi, Roku, Netflix, etc. all worked seamlessly. We are a family of four (two adults, two kids) and we had all the space and everything we needed to be more than comfortable during our stay. I would definitely advise a 4x4 if staying there in the winter (the listing was very clear about this)

Great Birthday Weekend In Roxbury!

Beautiful home with everything you need! Check in was seamless. Great suggestions for things to do/see in the guest notebook. We were celebrating two birthdays and visited some of the local restaurants. Just wish it hadn’t rained in the evening so we weren’t able to take advantage of the fire pit. Will definitely look to stay again.

A beautiful house in a beautiful setting

We booked this for our daughter's wedding at Inn at West Settlement and the house was wonderful! The view is amazing and the beds and pillows were so comfortable it felt like home. At night we used the firepit and in the mornings we had coffee on the deck. I would highly recommend this VRBO!

Such a thoughtfully designed space

This house is such a gem. Came for a wedding in the area and stayed with a group of friends. The view is positively stunning. The house is so pretty, clean as a whistle and well maintained. It has so many little touches- the kitchen is especially well appointed! The property manager was communicative and very pleasant in all interactions. They really have left no stoned unturned in their hospitality! We all just loved this house and would definitely return again!

Beautiful home

We stayed in this beautiful home with our son, his girlfriend and our other son who had selected Roxbury as the location for his wedding this past weekend. The house is much better stocked than the listing led us to believe. It is immaculate, modern feeling, yet cozy at the same time, with a spectacular view of the valley in the foreground and mountain in the distance. It is just five minutes to town, and owned by a helpful owner who is very responsive should questions arise. No complaints from any of us. We would stay at this house again in a heartbeat if we ever came up to this area again.

Fantastic getaway

My husband, toddler, and I went up to spend a few days with a couple close friends. We had a such a good time! The house is so nice and clean, the views are amazing, the bathrooms are modern (with a great tub), and every kitchen amenity was available (including a Chemex for all the coffee geeks out there). Would highly recommend!

The Ridge - Wedding weekend

It’s hard to put into words how great this place is. I got married nearby and spent a few days before and after the wedding. I needed a place that was a home away from home. Relaxing, quiet, beautiful, private, and incredibly cozy are words I would use to describe The Ridge. The amount of thought and care that went into every detail of this place is remarkable. From the fire pit to the deck views to the interior comfort and layout, this place has it all. Our host was incredibly efficient and thorough in communication and thoughtful in the suggestions and to do lists. This is a place that I would highly highly recommend in any season at any time for any getaway.

Beautiful family retreat!

A wonderful vacation for my family. The house was beautiful and the view amazing. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need for preparing meals to enjoy on the deck. My family loved playing corn hole and sitting by a roaring fire under the stars.

Amazing Getaway home

We loved the house. It is furnished with style and very cozy. Loved the fireplace and also the views down the valley from the terrace and also that all appliances needed were there. Stephen was very helpful in accommodating questions or requests. Highly recommend the place and we will be back!
