This place is so unique and overall awesome! One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The room was unusually small but quaint and cute. Would absolutely recommend!

Still a nice place but not what it used to be

Although I gave the rating a 'good', I have to say, it was rather disappointing. We have stayed at the Roxbury when it was owned by the previous owners. The quality of cleaniless and overall grooming of the outside has gone down. I would have given it a higher rating in the past. I believe the room could have been cleaner. There were fingerprints all over the wall. The outside was not kept up and a lot of weeds were growing in the manicured garden. The breakfast should be upgraded as well.

This is a very unique property it looks like a motel, but the interior and grounds are pure magic. The upper floor is a beautiful diamond and crystal type palace that has a spa and lounge area. It's very upscale for the price.

Miss Kitty’s Saloon

We really liked it here. However, the air conditioner in our room had a bad smell. We reported it to the office but no one came out to check it. We got used to the smell but it shouldn’t have smelled bad. It probably just needed a new filter. Easy fix. I did get to check out 3 other rooms and they smelled fine. I would definitely go back and stay in a different room. It’s a beautiful place! I definitely recommend checking it out!! My only regret is not staying longer!

The main building and the rooms are beautiful. Overall it's an excellent place to stay and relax. A pool is quite small but there's a hot tub as well as a sauna. Not sure why a fireplace was in use outside on a hot sunny day but the air-conditioning in the room was quiet and efficient. One important thing to be aware of: they have another property far away, which is not that perfect and Expedia doesn't differentiate. The management accommodated us and we stayed at a better location at the address shown in an email, not where the reserved room was located.

Roxbury at Stratton Falls vs. The Roxbury Motel

Our stay at the Roxbury Motel was great. Our room was clean, and the decor unique. The whole place had great character and the front desk people were friendly. My only concern was that when I booked our room, it didn't say it was at the motel, which is a separate, but nearby, location from the Roxbury at Stratton Falls. Our friend were staying there and we didn't realize until we arrived that our place was down the road a couple of miles. Other than that, it was a great stay.
