“Old school no elevator for family with kids ”

“What a charming and relaxing stay I had at this lodge. I brought friends and we had a marvelous time! The staff was excellent. Everything was clean. The food was very good. Great location. On a main road so easy to get to. I would stay here again. ”

“Not the same location we stayed in before. Far inferior. Pictures are not of this property. Room was significantly smaller. It was next to a common area where other guests sat and talked until 0300.”

“Dian Fossey Hotep is one of the more unique places I’ve stayed due to the artwork around the facility. Paintings and statues depicting Rwandan traditional culture and wildlife adorn the grounds and hotel. The staff are very kind and helpful.”

“There is no beach and the gate was shut when I arrived and had to wait an hour. The phone number was disconnected and there was a chicken that made noise waking me up 3 am. Not impressed ”

“Total Disaster When we arrived after a 4 hour drive, they pretended to to be aware of our booking. There was a wedding going on and I believe that was the reason why they kicked out all "ordinary" bookings. The staff was extremely unfriendly and rude. They said this is not their problem and kicked us out, not even thinking about apologizing or even offer to help us finding alternative accommodation.... Unfortunately, based on this experience, I can only advise everybody to avoid this……
