I fell ill in the middle of my trip and was cared for like a family member. Profoundly grateful for the kindness and thoughtfulness shown. Highly recommend this lovely spot in Dakar"

"The evening staff at reception and especially Mohamed made my stay perfect. They were so helpful in many ways such as finding me a taxi for a decent and honest fare. The day time staff at reception seemed less helpful. Not as welcoming and not recommending reasonable taxi fares. Mohamed was exceptional though. Super friendly and also the evening staff who helped me connect my laptop to the WiFi and made me complimentary drinks. "

"Classic, quiet, well-located hotel close to beaches and good restaurants near Almadies. Helpful, friendly staff. Peaceful garden. Some have mentioned the dirt roads, but that is typical of Dakar; the Ghana embassy residence is across the street, so it’s certainly an ok neighbourhood. "
