“Super comfy bed! Close to everything. 5/5 would definitely stay here again!”

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable.”

“We enjoyed the cabin very much, A couple of minor things came up but did not distract from the stay. However, the grounds are an issue. We understand that the area experienced a flood about a year ago which was devastating to the entire town. But one would expect the area of rentable cabins to be presentable. Overgrown grass and weeds dominated. Also, the pond in the middle of the cabins does not look anything as the advertisement. In fact, it was dry and the pump house is collapsed. The……

“This is a very quaint cabin for just 2 people. It has all the basics but if you intend on making some food there, bring the spices. Coffee brewer is good and plenty of filters are on hand. The bed is really comfy. The toilet must have been put in for a 5 year old because it is the shortest I have ever sat on. Location is really nice and close to the downtown area and plenty of wildlife roaming around. Cabin is a real rustic feel and we felt really comfortable there. All in all in was a……

“This was our second time staying at the Blue Jay Nest, and we already can’t wait to come back! Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. The cabin was spotless, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The location is peaceful, the views are incredible, and it’s the perfect place to unwind. Communication with the host was excellent, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. Every aspect of our stay was truly 5-star.……

“Nice little place”

“Perfect little getaway spot! 2 people and a dog fit nicely if you’re open to a small space. Well appointed and modern. The bathroom area is quite small so just be prepared for that. The wrap around porch was lovely to relax all day. Quiet surroundings and wildlife all around. I’d come back every weekend if I could!”

“Location very nice. Watch weather for flood Watch warnings-can affect road travels. Otherwise good experience.”

“Great location. We saw wild horses, turkeys, deer right from the deck.”

“Excellent value and location. Like many of the cabins in Ruidoso, these have been around a while. I liked the retro appeal and the bed was comfortable which was important as I was there for a triathlon.Bonus, we had an elk wander through the parking lot and hang out for a while nibbling ivy if the neighboring cabins.”

“The location was nice and the house was well kept. The hot tub was enjoyable. We would recommend to others.”

“The accommodations were excellent cozy and welcoming, host is communicative and attentive ”

“Great little cabin in the woods. Well stocked with everything you would need and then some. Hot tub and cozy family room but my favorite place was the front porch. Breathing the fresh air in the quiet, with the deer eating was so good for the soul and peaceful. Host was very receptive and answered the second we called with a question. Enjoy the tranquility and beautiful mountain town.”

“We loved our stay at this lovely cabin! It was so conveniently located and had an awesome view. The beds were a little uncomfortable but we had a awesome experience and can’t wait to be back!”

“Cabin was clean and have everything we needed - cooking a meal, cozy sheets, fans worked great to keep us cool. Thanks so much. We hope to stay again!”

“DISGUSTING BAIT-AND-SWITCH Do not let the staged photos fool you—this cabin is a neglected, unhygienic health trap. We arrived during the busy XTERRA festival weekend to find a property abandoned by basic housekeeping. The master bed box spring was completely broken and collapsed onto the carpet, exposing bare metal springs that made sleep impossible. The guest towels were covered in foul yellow/brown stains, curtains were ripped, and the kitchen was caked in structural grease and grime. Worse……

“The cabin was clean and inviting. It was homey. The location was a perfect place for launching on all of our adventures. The deck was great for watching wildlife and it was very quiet. Exactly what we needed!”

“It was pretty good place to stay, is nice and calm. I really liked that is pretty close to Ruidoso downtown.”
