A Vintage Retreat within earshot of Rio Ruidoso -10 min walk to Midtown Ruidoso.
Our home was originally built in1940. My husband and I have spent the last few years rebuilding it from the ground up, literally. (mostly my husband.) We wanted to save it! It's a lovely place! An historic house, in a magnificent spot! We are a 10 minute walk from Midtown Ruidoso, with wineries, breweries, live bands and many shops. Game trails surround us, so you can view deer, elk, and the occasional bear walk down to the nearby Rio Ruidoso river for a drink. They walk right past our house! We are close to pretty much anything you can think of. Skiing, just 45 minutes away, in the magical Sierra Blanca Mountains. Fish from a list of nearby lakes and streams. Hiking is endless from contained trails in town, to mountaintop trails deep in the woods. You can even go horseback riding! You will love the view out our front windows and you'll have 3 different patios to choose from, while listening to the burble of the Rio Ruidoso. The beds are comfortable and you'll enjoy central cooling and heating. You will love our place!

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place here and to people we know. The owner is so helpful and kind, she really cares for your stay to be a good experience. The place is very near to the main street but also in a quiet nature enviroment where you can see dear and elk passing by. It have everything you could need and so well organized and clean. We will definetly come back soon and we are very greatful for everything Veronica (owner) did to help us be comfortable in our visit

Better than described! Super clean and roomy.. easy access from the middle of town, which means you're only minutes away from everything.. but high enough that you're not affected by any weather.. and the elk walk by close enough to pet (don't do it!).. great communication with the hostess.. we will definitely be back!

The property is very nice. The property was not clean when we 1st checked in. I contacted the property manager and she came over and took care of cleaning the property. Kudos to the property manager. excellent. She was not informed of our check in. She stopped eveything she was doing and came aand took care of us.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin..The location is close to midtown, but the vibe is out in the woods. Quiet and beautiful. All amenities and facilities worked and were great.
