"Great stay at St Hildas. Fantastic friendly staff. Stayed in 'Venice ' themed room which was lovely and had great double bath. Loads of choice for continental breakfast. Short walk to join Cleveland way and can head to Staithes or Runswick Bay in 30-40 mins"

"Recently had a lovely four night break at The Bungalow. It was clean and comfortable with everything you need for a holiday. The beds especially comfortable. It is in an ideal spot to walk into Staithes and leave the car. We did a lovely walk along the cliff tops then back through the woods and a pint in the Fox and Hounds in Dalehouse. The pub that time forgot , just fabulous. Finished the day with fish and chips from local shop. Would certainly recommend."

"Just spent a long weekend at Felicity Cottage and couldn`t fault it. Lovely and tidy and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing break in Staithes. We met the host on arrival who showed us around and explained how the heating system worked. Would definitely stay there again."

"Gunpowder house was perfect for us, the house was clean, comfortable and well equipped, the view was lovely. The house stands on its own but was close to the village and had easy access to Whitby and the areas north of Whitby which we wanted to explore."

"The bungalow has a nice view and is warm and comfortable but the resident mice are really quite off putting. We were there at the end of November 2025 and the cliff top walk was very muddy in places but it would be a nice walk in the summer time. The garden is a good size and totally enclosed so it is a good place to go if you have a dog."

"The cottage could certainly do with some loving care .. it could be amazing It needs someone to give it a good clean and a fresh lick of paint and clean the garden up Although the bathroom is nice and bedding clean… great Wi-Fi … lots of dvds games But the amount of flys in the living room every time I killed them they reappeared!!"
