“no tooth brush provided we hv booked a twin bed room but only 1 set of towels were provided”

“Stayed here for 2 nights recently. House actually looked better than the photos. Lots of space with plenty of towels / cutlery / glasses / plates etc. lovely quiet street within walking distance of Loughborough. would 100% stay here again. I have removed one star as the thermostat on the shower could do with being checked. Unfortunately the only temperate was scalding hot which made it difficult to shower but I’m sure that’s an easy fix for the host. Thanks so much for the stay!”

“The Quorn hotel is near to town, has good parking facilities and is reasonably priced. The interior is not shabby, but a little tired and dated. In the room, which was a good size, one of the bedside lamps was plugged in, so we pulled the bed to plug it in. Behind the bed was an incredible amount of dirt and debris including a used tissue (not sure what it was used for), which put us off the room completely. The shower wasn't much more powerful than a trickle. Breakfast was OK, but nothing……

“The 1pm check in and 11am check out was a bonus. The room was spacious and very clean. The shower was excellent. The food was incredible and the continental breakfast was more than adequate. All staff members were friendly and there was ample parking. We will definitely return!”

“Fabulous little place, in an idyllic location. Whilst the accommodation is basic, it is charming and has everything you need....including kitchen and bathroom facilities. The addition of horses, pigs, and chickens and ducks on site was a bonus, and being greeted by the farm dogs every day was lovely. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating (we had to change our dates at the last moment) and are really friendly. Definitely looking forward to staying again.”

“The taps for hot and cold water did not work properly. Sometimes it is very hot and sometimes very cold. There was always no one at the reception. Although the workers in the lodge were very helpful, we needed to look for them. We also discovered that the clean towels were left on the floor for changing the dirty ones. In fact, the bedsheets and blankets would not be changed except that you asked them to do so. The beds were too old that they were too soft. I think the cleaners only tidied up……
