“We stayed for one night and took dinner and breakfast. It is a great home stay sharing travelling stories with other guests and learning about heritage of the farm. It is good to enjoy home style foods, plus endless supply of Tasmania beers and whisky. The cottage and room is clean and modern. Stay there if you pass by the area. ”
“Many insects came out in the house even we had closed all windows and doors. All ladies were very frighten and screamed. We had no means but found a vacuum cleaner to suck all insects as we could. It's a terrible night!”
“Beautifully converted shearer’s quarters with so many lovely touches. The communal kitchen provided a breakfast and all cooking options to be able to self cater with a roaring fire for heating. Very pleasant stay.”
“Great spot at the door step to Mt Feild. Very few places this close to Tasmanian wilderness at your front door with all the comforts of home. Excellent cafe called Fika nearby at Maydena. Worth the short drive for morning or afternoon tea or a great lunch. Highly recommend.”
