「Better than expected. Gary was very kind and communicated fast and very well. Really nice, clean, neat and fully stocked unit. We rented his boat which was clean and ran very well. We could not have had a better vacation. We rented in July 2025 and also in August 2025 because we liked it so much. Would definitely recommend and visit there again next year and maybe for several years. Neighbors all friendly too.」

「We had a delightful stay at Happy Harbor! The house was darling and spotless, kitchen well stocked, bathroom amenities were plentiful, and the beds were so comfortable! The village is very walkable, located near Indian Lake state park with plenty of walking trails and a wonderful dog park. The host was extremely nice and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!」

「Tidy and cute little cottage with everything we needed. Two of the bedrooms are pretty cozy, but functional. Kitchen is well stocked. We didn’t use the stove but the gas BBQ grill was great. Just note that a bright light shines all night in the parking lot next door, and also you’ll need to be able to navigate the spiral staircase. Check-in was a breeze, with good and prompt communication from the owner. The departure checklist was clear and simple. We had a very pleasant stay. 」

「Our family had a great stay. We had four adults and my 10 year old nephew who loves to fish. The unit was very clean and recently totally remodled.We had 2 cars and a 21 ft boat that the host arranged to fit easy. Good amout of restaurants close. Boat, Fish and Swim close. Looking for a lake trip like when you were a kid this is it.」

「Clean, well-stocked house. Very well decorated. The patio, which faces the lake was fantastic. Great sunrises. Shaun was responsive and provided clear instructions and good recommendations for the area. This was a girl's trip and we would definitely come back. 」

「If you like Glamping, this place is for you! GLAM: feel like an elite on your own island! Enjoy the deck with sunrise, and the firepit with a sunset. Revel in the beautiful lux house and cozy cottage! CAMP: be ready for the unexpected and some inconveniences. I believe this place has immense potential – but needs some more TLC and fixes before it can be a true 5-star rating. 「The lake house had everything we needed, and so much more. The space was very clean and well decorated. We love the outside living space. There was a ton of seating outside, and was perfect for soaking up the sun and watching the lake/wildlife. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day. We did get a chance to meet a few neighbors and everyone was VERY friendly! I will definitely be back! 」
