“Everything about Deer Ridge Lodge is exceptional ! It was the perfect place to meet our son's family for a mini vacation. The 7 of us had a delightful stay and we were fortunate to take in the Friday evening portion of Bluegrass on the Harpeth in the Center of Franklin. The teens had lots of fun in the game room and we took turns playing cornholes. My husband was a happy camper to be able to relax in the hot tub regardless of the hot weather. “A lovely stay for our basket weaving week. Check in and check out was smooth as communicated through VRBO account. The property was clean and well kept and supplied with amenities as described. Beds and furniture was comfortable with adequate space for the 3 adults on our trip. The upstairs bath headroom is a bit limited as described. “Perfect for family vacation with little ones. Close to the lake.”

“Me and two friends wanted to meet and play some guitar and catch up with each other. One lives in California, one lives in Michigan, and I live in Georgia. We’ve been friends for about 60 years. We are all in our 70’s now.The cabin was a great place to do that. There is a nice wrap around porch. It gets quite loud out there because a steady flow of dump trucks pass by. “Quiet, comfortable, relaxing. Three words to describe this place. Tucked in a convenient location, only 15-20 minutes from I-40 for trips beyond the immediate area. We had everything we needed for our stay, enjoyed visits from a few deer and watched the fireflies illuminate the early evening. Comms with the host before, during and after the stay had quick reponses and were valuable. We would stay here again for sure.”

“Ignore all the people complaining about bugs. If you want to stay in a treehouse there will be bugs. The shower piping is literally connected to a tree, which is explicitly shown in the pictures. I am not sure why anyone would need to message the property owner as everything worked perfectly. A few interesting quirks in the bathroom but it’s a rustic treehouse in the woods.
