「We would definitely stay at "The Little Black Cottage" again. It was absolutely wonderful experience for my husband and I.The location was perfect. Trees everywhere.......We even spotted a turkey a time or two. :)Lastly, it did our hearts good to see Chimney Rock and Lake Lure being cared for by so many. 」

「One of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Nice view and outdoor space, very clean and spacious inside, and every amenity was taken care of - from coffee, to bed linens, to shampoo/conditioner, to beach towels, to laundry detergent, to pots and pans. We had a bit of an issue with an A/C malfunction but the owner was responsive and got it resolved.」

「We spent our Labor Day weekend at Historic Grain Cottage on Highland Cow Farm and were immersed in the middle of this working farm. The accomodations were cozy and rustic and we thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the cows, goats, chickens, cats, and horse. We felt safe guarded by our 2 sweet and gentle pups Sadie and Murphy (Great Pyrenees) as they patrolled the area. Our new friends, owners John and Sheri, are awesome hosts and we enjoyed their stories of the history of the farm. Thank you...
