"Lovely spacious room in the cottage. Everything was catered for. Options for breakfast and dinner. We had a lovely sitting outside area which was handy on one of the hottest days. We parked in the long stay car park but then the lady on reception informed us that after 5pm the street was quieter and we managed to park our car nearby. "

"I thought this was a fabulous, up market hotel. The rooms were fabulous, the pool gorgeous in fact everything was great. The only thing that spoiled my stay was the breakfast. The breakfast menu was extensive, but only for cooked breakfast. I don't eat cooked breakfast. I asked for cereal and toast. I was given a small box of corn flakes (no choice) 2 slices of toast and a mini jar of marmalade for us both. My partner had a cooked breakfast and therefore no cereal. There is a definite need for a continental breakfast. Otherwise amazing."

"Fantastic hotel a couple of miles out of Pickering. Very friendly host and staff, I couldn't fault it, other than there was no draught ale due to supply problems. The food both at breakfast and dinner was excellent."

Five minutes walk from the bs and train station and the beer is kept just right Large rooms at a reasonable price, but could do with a portable fan for hot weather and the bedside lamps in room 1 did not work Lively Karaoke on a Friday evening and room I was given I could people watch . Pice it can’t be beaten and I’d rate it 9 out of 10 as the hallway toilet could do with redecorating "

"Very clean and comfortable new management. Kitchen wasnt open when we visited due to it being refurbished. Good location in the town for getting around"
