“It should be made clear that there is no air conditioning, that it is up on a steep hillside that is a chore for old folks to hike back up. On the positive side, it had an elegant old time ambiance and most of the front desk staff were very cheerful and helpful.”

“Great stay. Wheelchair access good except for harbour entrance. The tank trap trench, filled with pebbles, in a corridor??? Just brilliant for catching your power chair. Had to get guests to help me out.”

“Really liked how the family rooms were separate bedrooms. The rooms were nice n the location of the hotel was good n did have parking available. Only complaint was our room wasn’t ready n we were hanging about a while to find a big horrible yellow stain on carpet. We were told family before us had been sick which can’t be helped but was still a bit grim n couldn’t move rooms n just got a sorry. Other than that pool was nice, didn’t do breakfast as thought too expensive n all the staff were nice.……

“We arrived early for checkin and asked if we could leave our bag which was no problem. Only stayed one night but found it very good value, nice room with a sea view, comfortable bed and a good breakfast in the morning. Cant really ask for more. Thank you, we will be back!”

“The staff are very friendly. I booked for only 1 night. The hotel doesn't have car parking, but this didn't bother me. The room was clean. Very simple hotel, but I enjoyed my evening. Thank you. ”

“Hotel was in a great spot,it said parking when we booked it unfortunately the carpark was full when e arrived 🤔The room was good but be prepared for noise early because the doors on the rooms are not soundproof at all so you hear everything. Food was ok but poor quality ingredients but I do have to say the staff were lovely.”

“A great hotel in beautiful grounds perfect for a couples get away. The staff are friendly and always there to help. The adults only allows for a more intimate feeling and approach. The spa facilities are top notch and we look forward to visiting again ”

“The position is excellent with nice terrace and gardens, with a view of the beach. The room was in the old original hotel on the top floor at the rear and was very hot even with the sash window open, we requested a fan but it got overlooked.”

“The hotel is a lovely place, the staff was friendly and very helpful. On the days when we stayed the unique bad things we encountered were noise guesses in the room next door, so we couldn't really rest as we expected but apart from that attention at the hotel in great! ”

“Room was ok needs updating, sink taps need attention, cracks in sink and shower tray, but they didn't leak so that was good, perhaps they will get round to it as it looks like there doing bits to hotel.”
