Hotel Casa Miranda - Adults Only

"A really charming little hotel, right behind the indoor market and an easy stroll to the port. The room was spacious and clean. The only downside was the phone-based key system, which requires internet access. As an international traveller without local data, it was a real struggle to get into the hotel on arrival at 10pm. Despite requesting out-of-hours instructions days in advance, they only arrived once I had landed in Mahón and no wifi details were included. These really should be provided with the access instructions so guests aren’t reliant on having data at the door. There was also no wifi information in the room once I finally got in. After check-out I left my luggage, but my door access was deactivated by the time I came back and there was no one at reception. It was resolved via WhatsApp, but the access system could be much better communciated and managed."

"First and foremost, Cala Galdana is one of the best beaches we've ever been to - above expectations. Impressed by the decor/vibe in the hotel, which was more elegant and upmarket than expected. Rooms clean and impressed initially... but on closer inspection the fittings quite poor (doors that don't/won't stay closed etc) and the kitchen hob basically broken and unusable - if we hadn't been half board we would've been furious. Very good quality buffet food, though 8-10pm for dinner too late - yes, it's the Spanish thing, but most guests are not Spanish and it's not like there's any entertainment or anything to do from 6 to 8pm, so just very bored and hungry in the evening waiting for dinner. 7:30-9:30pm might be a fair compromise without imposing a mandatory siesta? Similarly the pool opened quite late/closed early. Overall it's a lovely hotel in a fantastic location for a sun and beach holiday."

"The hotel and gaff were amazing! Great location , couldn’t ask for more. Mirela and Sorya were extremely kind - thank you ! Only complaint is around the older plumbing. Could here neighboring guests when they do wild shower or use the restrooms from our room."

"Location is really good with some local supermarkets and restaurants. A/C was noisy even in night mode and could keep cold. Not sure if was just in our room. Outside swimming pool is ok. Breakfast could have more variety. Bonus points: water machine to refill bottles with cold water."

"We really enjoyed our first stay at this hotel in the beginning of August and went back second time for a shorter stay and now looking to book another holiday for next year. It is only a short drive from the airport, it is clean, staff are friendly and helpful and in my opinion it offers all you need for a family with children for a relaxing holiday. We look forward to coming back to this hotel in the future."

"Hotel was lovely, but room didnt have air con. Food was good, apart from the vegetarian selection could have been better. Drink selection for all inclusive was also 'ok', and all drinks served in a festival plastic cup. Pools were good, and the place was spotless,"
Palladium Hotel Menorca

"Lovely resort! We stayed with our young daughter in a room with a pull out couch and there was plenty of space. Room have a beautiful view and balcony with 2 chairs and table. There are 2 pools. One small adults only pool and one larger one for all. (As well as a small kiddie pool with a slide) All very clean and warm water. No trouble finding my a lounge chair. The resort is on a hill with about a 7 minute walk to the beach. It was not far at all but has a lot of stairs. There is no way to get a stroller down to the beach without caring it down about 100 stairs. The beach is gorgeous. 20 Euro to rent 2 chairs and an umbrella. Perfection. We had half board- recommend! This means we had breakfast and dinner included. It did not include drinks (alcoholic or not) or lunch. But drinks are reasonably priced at restaurants and the bars. There are about 5 different restaurants in walking distance from the resort and beach (but all involve the stairs). All of them we went to for lunch were wonderful! The food at the resort was good but not fancy. It was impressive how many people were able to served each meal. Everything was clean, fresh and refilled often. The staff worked so hard. Breakfast is the same daily but has a lot of variety (coffee and juice is included even with half board). Dinner has some standards each night but also each night has a themed station, we loved our stay and would recommend and return, (look into taking a boat trip from Fornells- highlight of our trip!)"
