"We paid ahead of time, only to be told at check in that we owed a $100 security deposit. I am not anti-deposit, but to not be told and then have it required suddenly is not cool. Luckily we had that on us. The front desk staff was not rude , but certainly not friendly. He gave us a rules sheet letting us know that they would charge us lots of money if we did not return both key cards in person to the front desk in the morning. And that they would charge us $50 per hour if we requested a late check out. No exceptions. Then we got into our room. It was small but clean, and had a fridge and microwave. But it was 95 degrees outside and at least 90 degrees in our actual room. We turned on the AC immediately. It only blew warm fan air. We thought, maybe it just needs to kick in… We left for the Farmers Market and dinner. Came back and it was still at least 85 in our room. The AC just does not work. We opened the e door and all the windows. No one was in the office, so we had to just deal with the heat. We tried to sleep, but could not close the windows so the traffic noise was bothersome. At 6:30am the linens truck backed up directly in front of our unfortunately open windows. They slammed metal bins in and out of the truck for a half hour. It was awful. We checked out early. We were up anyway and very hot. I guess the upside is that we definitely did not earn that extra $50 per hour…"

"The style of the Madonna Inn is absolutely amazing—each room is uniquely decorated with its own character and charm. Staying there feels like stepping back in time, almost like being in a fairy tale. Such a fun and memorable experience—definitely one of a kind!"

"Place is nice. Took our young kids picked the place for the breakfast and it was good but had to wait 10 mins for plates. Called down for extra towels and blankets guy told me he would be right up, never showed. Had to go down the next day myself and get them. Kids loved the pool"

"Price was pretty good, they put us in a room over the laundry room which vibrated and made me feel nauseous until the heaters in that laundry AC area stopped, we were near the ice machine, which also woke me up several times in the night, there was hair in the tub -two places on the wall of the shower, and the button to start the shower was broken. The breakfast was actually pretty yummy with healthy eggs and almond milk for your cereal or coffee and a lot of fixings for your oatmeal."
