“Cabin was extremely clean. Had everything you would want at your fingertips. Loved the compact kitchen with all the utensils needed to prepare meals. The bathroom shower had good water pressure & plenty of hot water. Cabin bed was very comfortable & plenty of blankets. Only small disappointment the kindling wood to use in the firepit was too wet to start a fire. Maybe an outside box to cover the wood to keep it dry would help.”

“Charming little cabin. Well stocked. Little trail down to the river right in front with a pool for the kids to play in. Highly recommend for quick and easy getaway from the capital.”

“Amazing property and experience! Peaceful, beautiful, and easy access to hiking. North Creek had a grocery store and cute shops. The Hobby Farm cabins (I stayed in two different ones.) were both lovely and had everything I needed. I'll be back soon!”

“Really enjoyed the beautiful property and large kitchen and living room area. The views are great, very close to Gore, can see Gore from the porch. The hot tub was great. However, the rental price is rather high and the listing does not really reflect the house. the house is really a three bedroom rental, with one bedroom on the first floor with a queen bed and bunk. A futon is located outside this bedroom in a living room area. The listing indicates that this room is bedroom, it really is not……

“We were three couples, three old fraternity brothers and their better halves who gathered from various parts of New York to witness the eclipse. I was lucky enough to discover this property after looking around for suitable lodging. We were impressed by the workmanship of the house. There was ample room in the kitchen and dining room. The bathrooms were large and easily accessible. We had the downstairs bedroom because we had our dog with us. It was a beautiful room but the room could’ve……

“This was a great little cabin right on the water with a fabulous view! The extras like the kayaks were great for being able to get out on the water. A few things to note - the shower is in the bedroom, the bunk room is a tight fit to get in the door around the beds, the doorways are short (we had one person that is 6'5" and had to duck), and the lighting in the bedrooms isn't great. None of these impacted us enjoying our stay, though! The neighbors that were around all seemed very friendly,……
