My 1 week vacation

If I need a place to stay in Sacramento, I would stay here. It is a very nice place. The lounge chair in the back yard was very comfortable.

Quaint, artsy place

Truly enjoyed the decor and ambiance. The backyard was so lovely and peaceful. Definitely would return again with more time. Michael was very helpful and prompt in replying. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Concert visit

In town for a quick weekend to see a show at Golden 1. The house was the right price and about ten minutes from midtown and down town! Nice coffee shops within one mile.

A cosy little house

We're two friends who wanted a few days away to hang out and craft together. The air conditioning worked well to keep the cottage cool, and we found the beds very comfortable and most everything we needed in the kitchen. It was convenient for driving to shops and restaurants. We had a couple of issues that we messaged about and received quick responses.

Great short term rental

Two of us stayed here for 7 weeks and it was great! Beds were comfortable and the backyard was amazing. We could have used a bit more storage as we were staying for many weeks but totally enough storage for a more a short term stay. The decor was great and the house was a good size for the two of us for how long we stayed. The location was pretty central and though this neighborhood is not known to be the nicest, we had no issues regarding saftey. The hosts were very responsive.

Good Experience

The house was clean and communication was great! The location was good though a neighbor did ask me and my friends if it was time for Halloween, though we were getting ready to go to SacAnime comic convention. Over all a really good experience and I’d consider here again in the future.

Well Intentioned, But Didn’t Deliver

The house itself is cute, basic amenities provided as described, and the artwork cool, but we were not overly impressed. Communication through the VRBO app was almost non-existent. The owner uses Guestly which is outside of VRBO and that was not a way I wanted to communicate. I sent a few messages via VRBO and I received one reply that was pretty delayed and then no other responses. The emails I sent were about issues we faced upon arrival - sound bar not working, toilet running and nit stopping, loud heater in bedroom, etc. We received an email at the end of our stay asking to resolve any issues outside of VRBO and complete a review outside of VRBO. That is not our jam - using VRBO to communicate is our preferred method and it felt disingenuous that the owner was communicating outside the app. Would not stay again. Also, totally our fault, but if you don’t have a car, this place doesn’t have a lot within short walking distance. Well intentioned, but didn’t deliver.

My family stayed here in March to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Very nice location for all the things we wanted to do and not a far drive from any of the locations we visited. The house is just charming in a very colorful neighborhood. We felt quite at home just chilling on the couch at night, watching our shows, enjoying each other's company, feeling very relaxed. The artwork in the home was unexpected and a conversation starter! We wished the weather was bit nice so we could have enjoyed outdoors more but still enjoyed it nonetheless. We would definitely stay here again!
