"Although off a very busy road, property was super quiet, especially at night. Stresa was less than a half hour drive away. Supermercato was a two minute walk. On a rainy day the gym next door let us try the facilities for free"

Please note that it is NOT walkable from the airport. While it looks like walking distance from the airport on google maps, there are no walking paths or sidewalks. I recommend using the shuttle that the hotel provides (for a fee, 5 euro per person to Terminal 1). Taxi charged a flat rate to 20 euro. "

"Priced appropriately, what you might call spartan accommodations. Getting to the loft with large bed is 15 or so steps to do carefully. Needed the fan to keep cool ( late August).
