"The room itself was clean, but unfortunately, the overall comfort fell short. The bed was particularly strange. It was hard to tell whether it was too soft or too firm, but either way, something just didn’t feel right. It made it difficult to get a comfortable night’s sleep. The pillows also left a lot to be desired, lacking both support and comfort. Another drawback was the TV. For the size of the room, the television felt much too small, making it difficult to watch comfortably from the bed or seating area. Additionally, the noise level was an issue. The room was located next to the hallway, which resulted in frequent foot traffic and door noise throughout the stay. This made it harder to relax, especially during early mornings and late evenings. While the room had potential due to its size and cleanliness, the comfort issues and noise made the stay less enjoyable than expected."

"Everything was great except the noise. Lots of drunk people yelling from the street below, we were on the 4th floor and still loud. Would advise you ask for a room opposite the Fore Street side."

"I do not remember the name but the woman that checked me in was an absolute ray of sunshine. She had pink hair and her attitude made my normally grumpy self feel happier. Rooms were great to, breakfast was good though I was bummed they were out of fruit at like 9am."

"Unfortunately the poll was closed for planned maintenance, which was not disclosed and was disappointing. The breakfast offerings were sparse, with overflowing trash, unclean tables and serving areas. The breakfast staff person was pretty rude when others asked for replenishments of basics such as milk for cereal, eggs and sausages. With other choices, we’ll stay elsewhere next time. "

"The facility is clean and very stylish. The staff were kind and supportive. The bartenders were all amazing. Overall a great place. My only negative is the breakfast. It's mainly microwaved to go items. So I would avoid eating there. There are some great breakfast places walking distance in the area. Portland is a great food place."

"We were so pleasantly surprised with the Cambria Hotel. It was a great location- quiet but close enough to Old Port to walk. Our room was amazing and the staff was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning to Portland and when we do, the Cambria will most definitely be our place to stay! "
