Beautiful Architectural Home on a Beautiful Lake

The home, deck, dock and lake all were perfect for our family. This was the second time we've stayed at this home and if possible in the future would love to stay there again!

Great getaway!

We've stayed here multiple times...and will continue to do in the future. The house had some issues (lights out, dirty window sills, bathtub had not been used so was dusty). Overall, lovely place with plenty of room and FUN for families!

Canada long weekend

The house was great, we stayed there for 6 days with two family’s, lots of room for everybody and the dock is awesome to have, we rented a boat from the marina 5 minutes away and our docked worked great to pick up the family then drop them off after, the mountain bike trail is a 2 minute ride away and the trail was a moderate ride up ,

If you want it all, the views inside and out, from the time you get there until you leave, this home has it all! The beauty of the woodwork, the unbelievable amount of space, the dock, the island, the fireplace, I could go on and on, but now want to go back again! So wonderful!!!!

Majestic Tranquility

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this extraordinary mountain-like lodge. The kids loved playing shuffleboard in the game room and swimming in the lake. The adults enjoyed the sweeping views from the deck and the home's overall aesthetic. We would come back! The lakeside location was fantastic: close to Silverwood, hiking, and Schweitzer Ski & Lodge.

Paradise

This house is a gem. Spectacular view and access to the lake with wonderful hiking trails close by. Wildlife to entertain you and one of my families favorite pastimes was playing shuffleboard. Your family will never want to leave this magical place once you arrive.

Honestly pictures and words don't do this house justice. We absolutely loved the view and waking up every morning to the sun and the lake. It was absolutely stunning! We had a great time in the house, yard and deck. I already miss being there!!

The house is magical roomy and In an exquisite location. Please note there is no air conditioning which in the era of global warming is not wise for an STR. It cools off at night but ended up managing our time based on trying to stay cool. Beautiul place.

What a view!!

Our family gathered here to celebrate our daughters college graduation and it was absolutely perfect. Because we had an 8 month old in the group we weren’t looking for a lot of activities. We spent much of our time at the house and had a blast. We ate well (the kitchen is amazing), we spent hours on the deck, we enjoyed ping pong and took walks. The home is so comfortable and well set up for families or a group of friends. We did go into Sandpoint and enjoyed good coffee and local breweries. We would definitely return!

Great Home and Location

We loved this home. The location was right on the Lake and the interior was beautiful in all respects. The firepit on water's edge was memorable. We would definitely rent again. The house was close to hiking trails and was a short drive to Sandpoint. The only negative was the whole VACASA process. We found the form e-mails and the procedure very impersonal and retracts from the concept that you are renting a vacation home from the owner. VACASA did not respond to our request for an early check-in and sent us numerous irrelevant e-mails. House Great-VACASA not so much.

Our weekend vacation.

This is the second time we have been able to stay in this BEAUTIFUL home. We enjoy the home, the views, the entertainment it has to offer. It is such a pleasure being able stay in such a beautiful location, being close to so many things to do. The only down fall with this visit, was the cleanliness. The coffee pot was dirty. Water was left in the tea pot on the stove. The inside of the toilets were also not very clean as well. There also had been a fire in one of the upstairs rooms(prior to our stay)and was unable to be " "completely"cleaned before our arrival. Even though the beds were useable, the first day the smoke was tolerable, but strong through out the house. The management was wonderful contacting us, letting us know they had been working at getting it cleaned up, apologizing for any inconvenience and assured us, they were available 24/7 if we needed anything at all! We look forward to a future return, perhaps in the warmer weather, so we are able to explore what outside things this beautiful home has to offer! Thank you, again for our wonderful stay!

Beautiful Home

The home is beautiful and the location is nice: quiet and peaceful. It has high end appliances (Wolf, Subzero) in a kitchen any level of cook would love. The views are incredible and there is a hiking trail about a quarter mile away. Sandpoint (restaurants, groceries, etc.) is about a 15-20 minute drive; Schweitzer is about 40 minutes. The house faces away from Sandpoint/Ponderay, so it's very dark at night, which is great for star gazing and sound sleep. The deck is huge and is furnished with chaise lounges, table and chairs, and a Weber grill. There is a shuffleboard and ping pong table downstairs, and a private dock on the lake. I would recommend this residence. There are few drawbacks: It is expensive. The dishes and cookware are worn. The wifi is minimal (~20 mpbs up). To use a phone to play music, you'll need a headset adapter. Lots of flies in the house. Bottle Bay Road is not cyclist or pedestrian friendly. Not that there's a lot of traffic, but it's very narrow and windy. Finally, a landscape service showed up to do the lawn -- mowing, weed whacking, and most awful, leaf blowing. That's not my idea of a peaceful get-away and should've been done during the housekeeping changeover when paying renters are not there.

Spacious lakeside property

Nice open plan house with water frontage. Large kitchen with island set up was ideal for our family to gather around. House essentially split into two wings, so if two families were to book it would be easy to have some form of privacy. Deck has great views out over the lake, and then you can walk out of the basement down to the shoreline. Property ran by Vacasa who mainly communicate via text so never any interaction with owner.
