“Pros: Lovely room High quality accomodation Friendly staff at check in and in the health centre Cons: The balcony area could of been cleaned ready for our arrival -bird poo and cob webs everywhere. There was no mirror in the room apart from in the bathroom cabinet, therefore very difficult to dry and do my hair. Would really benefit from having a long mirror next to a plug point. The drinks and food at dinner took a very long time to arrive. The food was delicious but took a long time. No……

“We were very surprised to find a small and beautiful town named Lechlade nearby. And it is 45 hours' drive to Cotswold which was quite acceptable. However the room was not tidy enough but still in the acceptable range.”

“Beautiful old building full of character. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very welcoming. Parking was definitely a bonus.”

“First, you can't check in till 5pm. Second, the shower is small and slippery when wet. When I mentioned that I'd nearly fallen twice and it needed a non-slip mat, I was told can't be done as this would be an admission that there is a problem. Plus, the light in the bathroom is on a motion sensor timer and kept cutting out leaving me in the shower, in the dark. It sounds comical but with the slippery shower base and total darkness, it wasn't funny. I had to open the shower door and wave my arm to……

“We had an excellent experience in this hotel. It was the first time we visited this hotel. Located a bit away from the city centre, the hotel's deco, ambience and service were comparable to a 5-star hotel. We were particularly impressed by the service of Ali, proactive, considerate and detailed to meet our needs, even the unspoken. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and found them enjoyable. ”
