The Barrington looks a bit tired but the room was excellent clean and spacious.Breakfast offered a good range and ticked all the boxes Staff were amiable and helpful. Decent parking options available and public transport right outside the door. Not the Ritz but fully met our expectations.

We stopped for a single night and was amazed at the service we received, shown to our room and was very surprised on the size of out room....It was Huge.
Breakfast the next morning was made to order and a good array of item for breakfast, staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

My room was in the older part of the main pub, and whilst some of the building was ageing, the room was well looked after and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating to all requests. This is a traditional homely hotel and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

A useful place to stay when visiting Avebury. Basic rustic accommodation. Unfortunately, when we arrived we discovered that the kitchen was closed other than for breakfasts. However, the Prince of Wales across the road was open for meals. We had two cooked breakfasts here, deliciously cooked by different staff. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful, prividing a home away from home experience. Bed was comfy and we slept soundly. Our dog was treated wonderfully.
