「This appart-hotel is about a ten minute walk to the centre of Angouleme and the comic strip museum is nearby. The rooms are clean with a kitchenette and a shower room. Breakfast is reasonable for under 10 euros. The staff are helpful and pleasant. Altogether a good stay. 」

「Stunning property, excellent location for exploring Southern Charente and the Northern Dordogne areas. Well equipped, clean with a beautiful pool. Sallyanne and Peter on hand for any assistance and for excellent tips for places to visit or for really good eateries. Definitely recommend - look no further!」

「The property was very well located, being close to the town of Chalais with a decent size Intermarche and Monday market. It was situated at the head of a farm track leading into fields of corn and sunflowers. The gite was spacious and clean and the bedrooms comfortable. It was good to have 2 bathrooms. We really enjoyed using the swimming pool and our youngest liked the swing in the tree! We had lots of BBQs. Only small niggle was that we were unable to find the toaster? Also not enough mugs,...

「Malgré le temps nous avons passé un bon séjour dans cette belle région. Pour le logement, belle maison extérieur et belle piscine. Mais par contre pour l' intérieur très fouilli, trop encombrée de vieilles choses, la cuisine trop petite et non fonctionnelle, l' électricité pas trop au normes pour des locations, mal entretenue, nid de poussières et d'acariens, les personnes allergiques s'obstenir !!!! Malgré tout ça les propriétaires très accueillants.」

「This was our second holiday here and once a lovely relaxing and peaceful time in a beautiful location. The heated pool is wonderful and it's great to have aircon in the property for those extra hot days. Simon and his team always respond quickly to any requests. Highly recommended!」

「La maison a été rénovée récemment et tout est impeccable à l'intérieur. Beau séjour et chambres spacieuses, c'est parfait pour 6 personnes. En extérieur, grande terrasse sur 2 côtés de la maison. Le jardin venait d'être refait (printemps 2024) et la pelouse neuve mais ça ne pourra que s'améliorer. Très belle piscine à débordement, de belle dimensions. Attention cependant, pas de couverture pour ce type de piscine. Et donc..... elle est franchement fraîche après le 15 août (nuits autour de 12°)....
