Zu Fuss ist man aber schnell im Dorfzentrum und auch die Veloroute Via Ardèche ist rasch erreicht. Ruoms hat sich überhaupt als guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung erwiesen. "Wir verbrachten traumhafte drei Wochen in Les Bancs. Die Terrasse - umgeben von Maulbeerbaum und Linde - haben wir Tag und Nacht genossen. Besonders schön waren die zahlreichen Bademöglichkeiten in der näheren Umgebung (zu Fuß an der Sure, in Gravière und Chambonas an der Chassezac). Für Liebhaber der französischen Küche sind der kleine Bio-Markt in Chambonas (donnerstags 17.30h) und die zahlreichen Geschäfte in Les Vans eine Fundgrube. Darüberhinaus ladt die Gegend zum Paddeln und Wandern...
