We truly loved the absolutely remote location of Diana Dea Lodge – it’s a peaceful hideaway surrounded by nature. That said, reaching the hotel is a bit of an adventure: the steep, winding road up requires some confidence, especially when navigating the occasional oncoming car in the dark. The lodge itself is beautifully designed, with warm wooden interiors that create a cozy and natural feel. The atmosphere varied quite a bit during our stay – it was very quiet on weekdays, while the weekend brought in more (seemingly younger) guests, likely there just for a short break. Breakfast was generous and tasty, though it’s pre-prepared rather than à la carte. A highlight was definitely the cappuccino – one of the best we’ve ever had! Dinner was tasty as well: while the portions were on the smaller side and the menu a bit limited (and not cheap), the quality and flavors were excellent. There’s no gym on-site, but the comfort of the room makes up for that. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bath with a view over the landscape was a real treat. All in all, a special place to disconnect and enjoy the quiet, natural beauty of Réunion.

Cet établissement est un véritable refuge de charme, niché dans un domaine naturel spectaculaire qui offre une vue imprenable sur l'océan Indien et une tranquillité absolue. 👍 Les Points Forts : • Le Cadre et la Vue : L'emplacement à 650 m d'altitude est à couper le souffle. Observer les cerfs en liberté et profiter du silence est un luxe incomparable. Les piscines chauffées à débordement sont divines. • La Gastronomie : Le restaurant est un voyage culinaire. Le chef met merveilleusement bien en valeur les produits locaux. Chaque dîner était une expérience de haute qualité. • Le Service : Le personnel est d'une gentillesse, d'un professionnalisme et d'une discrétion remarquables. Nous nous sommes sentis accueillis et choyés. ⚠️ Point de Vigilance (Avis Constructif) : Le seul léger bémol de notre séjour concernait notre chambre. Nous avons malheureusement ressenti une odeur d'humidité assez présente, probablement due au concept de la douche directement implantée dans la chambre sans séparation ou ventilation suffisante. Tout etait im-pe-ccable! Un vrai service, du bagagiste a la chambre! On est au petit soin, un receptioniste plus que bien dans son rôle. Notre 3eme séjour ici, et se fut le meilleur de loin! Matelas selon notre gout( +ou- dur selon nos désirs) Mes enfants et nous validons. On y met le prix oui, mais c'est une bonne dépense.

Hôtel merveilleux dans un très beau cadre avec une vue incroyable. Personnel aux petits soins tout au long de la journée. Petit déjeuner extraordinaire. Mets proposés par le restaurant excellents. Présence d’un spa. Dommage que le jacuzzi ne fonctionne pas.
