"The staff at reception & the porters were very friendly and helpful. The balcony of the super deluxe room was large with a beautiful view. The landscaping was lovely. The bathroom was large & the AC was powerful. I was surprised that the bed was just a queen, but that was fine. The restaurant & cafe were very expensive and was not worth the price, especially the Easter dinner which was $130 EC each + drinks and very disappointing. The pool is well located alomg the beach but really quite small, it's basically a plunge pool. The beach itself has a lovely view & calm water for swimming, but offers very little shade or decent areas to sit along the sand. The hotel is located in walking distance to several other hotels and a couple of bars and restaurants which was very convenient for eating and drinking options."

"Overall, this is a beautiful resort with some highs and a few frustrating downsides. I’d rate it an 8/10. The property itself is stunning, and the beach is absolutely beautiful. The food was honestly a standout—10/10 across the board. The complimentary water sports during the day were also a great perk, and there was rarely much of a wait for those. That said, the room could have been cleaner, and the mini fridge isn’t restocked unless you specifically ask, which felt like something that should be automatic. Service overall was mixed—some staff were excellent, but others weren’t very friendly and didn’t seem too welcoming. One big thing: I would not recommend getting a butler. It really didn’t add much value and was actually a bit inconvenient at times. The only real benefit was helping secure beach or pool chairs, which are otherwise very hard to get. If you skip the butler, I’d suggest renting a cabana instead—the service there was better anyway. The boat transfer to the hotel was nice and scenic, but not necessarily faster than taking a cab, especially since there was still a wait. Be prepared for “island time”—service can be slow, whether it’s waiting for food at restaurants or getting assistance from staff. Also, the crowd tends to be older (50s–60s), and things quiet down pretty early, so don’t expect much nightlife after 11pm. The weather was a mix of sun and quick rain showers, but it didn’t take away from the experience since it usually cleared up fast. "

"The pool and area around it were closed due to some awards function taking place. We didn’t know that til We arrived and saw the staging being setup. And while there was a note in the room saying so that didn’t really help as we were already there The dining room staff (all the staff actually) were very warm and friendly and the location is wonderful being right on the beach"

"The night before I left I thought it was strange that the boy that worked at the front desk was upstairs near my room. We spoke for a bit while he was walking back down stairs. I noticed my room door was open and the lights were on but I dismissed it. It’s not until I was packing my bags did I realize ALMOST HALF MY PLUMS that was in my personal fridge was gone. I really enjoyed my time but I can’t get over the fact that staff went in my room and stole my fruit that I picked and planned on bring back to the states for someone. I had a full bag, you guys left me with less than half. Thank you."

"The property is beautiful! The restaurant food is all very delicious. Staff is very personable and friendly. My complaints: It takes very long to receive food whether that is restaurant dining or in room dining. I will say that whenever we asked for something, other than food, service was very prompt. I wish there were activities like yoga or on site. They need a spa!! (They did call a local spa to come to my villa and provide services and it was great) "
