「From the check in process being so seamless to the view alone off the balcony it is so nice when a property matches the photos. 「I love the house being on a hill, so you get a nice breeze throughout the house. However, it needs a little cosmetic work. This was a last-minute booking for me, so it worked out perfectly. The house is very spacious and clean. Needs a smart tv for those who like to watch tv series or movies once in a while. All the windows should have screens so you get the breeze and not the bugs.」

「The old fort is a place like no other I've ever been to. The setting is atop a hill with almost 360 views of the ocean from the tower room where we stayed. The breezes were delightful and I even had to ask for a blanket. Other rooms have air conditioning if you want, but we liked the rustic top floor. Quirin and Otmar were perfect hosts, regaling us with stories of life on Bequia, archeology, philosophy, and the vision and hard work that went into turning a ruin into a paradise.
