Frustrated

The keyless entry lock on our rental unit’s door would not work—at the end of the day on Saturday with 2,10 and 11 year olds plus 2 adults wet from the beach and sandy because the showers coming off the beach near our unit did not work. The property manager sent a repairman—and he was tremendous. However—he worked on the door lock for over 2 hours without success and finally literally used a crow bar to force the lock to break and let us in. He profusely apologized for the inconvenience. I have waited to hear from the property manager as well—perhaps offering some small refund or something for the fact we sat in the dark with 3 kids—to no avail. I stay at Fripp every year in a beachfront home with the rest of my family and have NEVER experienced beach showers and door locks that don’t work. I’m somewhat disappointed to have not heard anything from management. Not sure I can recommend staying in this part of Fripp resort again.
