“Well maintained home with plenty of space. Sunrise and moonrises were spectacular. Decent grocery shopping in Calibishie but the best store we found was Savers Enterprise in Portsmouth. Safety & privacy were excellent. The house is sited in a way that no one can see and there is no other property "looking down" on you. Gweneth (mgr) told us the do's on dont's for safety at check in and Chris (owner) was very responsive to all inquiries.”

“Charming place right on the shore and central to all amenities of Calibishie. Especially enjoyed eating our breakfast on the deck every morning with the sea as our back drop.”

“Our experience at the Pagua Bay House was great! The grounds, cabana, restaurant, and view of the bay were amazing. We ate most of our meals on-site at the bar and grill. As others have mentioned, we really appreciated the help from Sheldon and Alicia in setting up activities and providing suggestions to explore the island! We would definitely recommend staying at Pagua Bay House on a trip to Dominica.”

“Given the ratings/reviews & my experience with similar caliber properties around the world, I was disappointed in certain things. The security guard at the front gate of the property was extremely rude. Didn't welcome us but asked what we were doing there. Our driver was very taken back by his behavior & said he's never seen anyone so rude at this establishment. Two days prior to arrival, I was sent an email form w/ one of the questions asking when we'd be arriving. I selected the noon-2pm……

“This property is a tranquil retreat in the middle of a forest and adjacent next to a beautiful river that we all loved swimming in! The owners had many great suggestions of things to see and fo nearby, great places to eat, and places to go for this being our second trip to Portsmouth so we had too much to do and lived it all! Our only regret was that we didn’t have more nights here!”

“The room was superb. The pool is excellent. There is one restaurant for breakfast with a buffet, and one restaurant for dinner. It did not have everything on the menu, and I found it pricey, although the food was good. Service was very slow, although I didn't mind - I wasn't in a hurry. No beach!”

“Waw! Words can't express our experience at the two oceans villa, one must go and experiece for ones self. The children loved it! It was a good distance getting there but upon arriving we instantly felt at home. Having a rental is a must! Nathan the villa manager, was an excellent host, there only when you need him. Got to speak with the owners briefly and they seem to be as lovely as the home itself. Definitely a 5 star 🌟. We will be back. ”

“Beautiful location in the middle of the rainforest. To wake every morning to the sounds of the rainforest was divine…. The hammock got very well used! The property is close to Douglas Charles airport, which is great, but it is extremely isolated if you don’t have your own car. It wasn’t easy to persuade tours to pick up here as most operated from Roseau on the other side of the island. The staff are extremely hard working and very kind The only problem with my stay is that I requested pick……
