“Great clean cabin in a nice quiet setting. Close to the lake ramps. Only downside was no wifi but were only there one night so it wasn’t an issue.”

“My friends and I planned about a year in advance to stay within the path of totality and finding this cabin was a godsend. Not only was the house fantastic, but the view was absolutely stunning. For the eclipse, we lucked out and got great weather to take in the once in a lifetime event with total privacy. And at night, the sky that was viewable was perfect for stargazing, with or without a telescope. Couldn’t recommend this place more if you’re wanting to find some private peace of mind and……

“We really enjoyed our stay. It was such a cute little cabin and every detail seemed very well thought out. And out of all the Vrbos I’ve stayed in, this one had the best cooking utensils stocked in the kitchen. That may seem silly but we cook pretty much every meal we eat so it was a big deal for us. Rented and stayed at different places from campgrounds to houseboats to cabins I have to say this is the best most comfortable and easily accessible place we have stayed in. The view, pond, cleanliness, ammenities, are the best. Absolutely loved the train waved enough at the conductor he started waving. Lol u can’t go wrong here”

“We were extremely happy with this rental - the cabin was clean and the giant screened in front porch with three big nice rocking chairs was perfect and where we spent much of our time. The sheets and blankets were of higher quality than usually see at cabin rentals and this made everyone have really great nights of sleep! The location is gorgeous with beautiful hills and nature around. The owner was extremely communicative and responsive. We will definitely stay again if in the area, loved it!”

“Doug was awesome! The property had probably the best bed we have slept in. He was thoughtful and had some protectors for the couches knowing we had a couple dogs with us. It was nice and quiet out at his place though we didn't get to explore because of family obligations. My car decided to die on us and he was so kind offering help and not mad about the circumstance of essentially checking out a hour late due to having to run into town and back for a new battery.
